Valance Arbor Insert.  Designed to be mounted between extended posts or columns. 
Gate Arbor

A good example of when a gate and arbor should maintain the color of the house trim instead of a pigmented stain.

The columns were fabrcated on site by the contractor.

Two small obscure-glass inserts in the center arbor grids, as well as the glass in the gate was selected and installed by the contractor and homeowner.  In this scenario, CPW ships the gate or arbor with detached glass-stops for an easy installation on site.
