Wooden Garden Panel Designs

Five Decorative Patterns for Fence Divider, Trellis & Panel

Here we offer a series of Garden Fence Panels as line drawings. With the development of his methods for exterior flush grid joinery,
Prowell extended the possibilities for the decorative  Garden Panel, Divider, Screen and Trellis
.

Patterns #1-5 as Vanishing Perspectives.

Pattern #1
(Plexiglas backing available for side-wall mount only)
This pattern was commissioned for a five-story Chicago IL residence and was unfortunately never realized. It was originally designed to mount to the back  of a garage sidewall. The intention is to create the illusion of a larger landscape.
Pattern #2
(Plexiglas backing available for side-wall mount only)
A layout with decreasingly smaller grids, accentuated by plexiglas inserts.   Without the suggestive plexiglas, we have a study in head-scratching illusions.
Pattern #3
(Plexiglas backing available for side-wall mount only)
Here the grids narrow toward the center of each panel.
Pattern #4
(Plexiglas backing available for side-wall mount only)
Here the grids narrow toward the far bottom corner of each panel. With or without the plexiglas inserts.
Pattern #5
Trompe L'oeil Treillage
As a garden divider or as a side-wall mount. The garden divider would have the same visual illusion from both sides.

Two Herringbone Patterns

Herringbone #1
-----A rather simple herringbone pattern.
Herringbone #2
The complexity of a true herringbone
