There are of course no metal screws or fasteners within the Garden Arbor assembly itself. Only the four lags provided to secure it to the site posts.

Prowell’s Wood Arbor as a medley of rabbets and dadoes and mortises and tenons and the now-and-again dovetail.
GARDEN ARBOR 31
As shown above, Arbor #31 is often utilized as a host to Prowell’s outdoor swings. In this application we simply provide the swivel mounts and heavy-duty springs, as well as insuring the swing size and arbor size are compatible.
The standard clearances are shown in the diagram–scroll down.
The posts shown are to help illustrate the assembly. Posts are not provided by Prowell Woodworks.
