As a purely aesthetic choice, Pre-Finish Options are available with all of prowell’s wood garden gates. Because of the wood species–western cedar–; the grade of that wood (clear, KD, vertical-grain, with 20-growth rings minimum per inch); and the joinery that allows the wood to breath, there is no finish or sealant that will prolong the life of your gate by a single day.
