Prowell’s Joinery #10. A full 1″ thick traditional tenon cut from the rail. The exposed tenon features two oak wedges, driven in to tighten a joint against any possibility of misbehaving over the coming decades, or perhaps centuries. Who can really say? In a hundred years the earth will be host to all new people, more or less. No one will know a prowell from a dowel.
