Front entry gates 36 show a continuous sweeping arch embedded and joined to a series of tapered pickets.
The pickets themselves alternate, with every third picket tapered.

Meanwhile, we’ll sit patiently waiting while our staff handyman absorbs himself with the overwhelming task of presenting our picture as a plumb and level presentation. A task that is seemingly sooo complicated.

The vertical pickets are joined into the continuous arch. So let’s be clear: these are not arching pieces of wood that screw onto the pickets on the front and back face of the gate. All of which explains the pricing of +36%.

The Pedestrian Gate style 40-8, designed as an accompaniment to the #36 Driveway Gate.

PROGRESS

The continuous arch ultimately extends to flanking panels on either side of the gates. Due to the flanking foliage we are unable to actually see this in the above site photos. Below, to insure the continuity is correct, it helps to find a perspective from the shop loft.

The tapered pickets were created with the use of a quick jig.
