Alternating pickets from 1-5/8″ to 3-1/4″ width x 1-5/16″ thickness, spaced at 3/4″. Panel frame thickness 1-5/8″. A lower center stile.

Let us note that in visiting the shop, Charles and his visitor discovered over the course of conversation that they were both in Buenos Aries at the same time. A time in history when they may very well have been the only visiting westerners, as it was 1977 and the middle of Argentina’s notorious ‘Dirty War’. Charles came into the city via a small prop plane from the southernmost Patagonia, landing at a small private airport, whilst his someday patron came in on a vintage sailboat. He and his wife and two daughters had been sailing around the world for the past ten years. Charles…well, Charles had been hoofing it for most of a year down the west side of the continent and up the east side.
