WOOD GARDEN GATES 111

Wood gates style #111 borrows elements from three styles. We see the stepped cut-out in the horizontal middle rail as well as the small open squares mortised into the panel, signified by Garden Gate #93. We also have the alternating pickets widths and tighter 3/4″ spacing of wood gate #76. In it’s basic layout, it also mimics Wood Gate #5.

Wood yard gates 111-1 shown with a series of fence panels #26 built on the bias. For sloping grade, you or your installer supply us with the overall length of the run, and the exact measurement of the rise over that length. When the slope is even, we do the trigonometric calculations to arrive at the angle we cut the horizontal rails.
When the slope is uneven (i.e. varying from panel to panel), the better solution is to have the grade feathered to a consistent slope where possible.
