The intention is to align the horizontal grid divider of the gate with those of the flanking Pony Panels #4.

With a fixed panel dimensions of 72-1/2″ net idth and 23-1/2″ net hight, and matching the adjoining gate grid size of 4.67″, we see a top rail width of 1-3/4″ and a bottom rail width of 4-1/4″, enabling equal grids vertically and horizontally.
