CUSTOM WOOD GARDEN ARBOR 14-1
Sausalito, California
W/keystone.
The original garden arbor with arches 14 from a home in Marin County, CA, showing flanking panels on either side of the gate/arbor, as well as ‘foyer’ panels within the depth of the arbor entry. Although we will often include a keystone, it is now inlaid to the arbor truss instead of as shown below.
The muted sepia exposure is not an attempt to be arty; this was back when the very first digital cameras were introduced, eliminating the time-consuming process of shooting slides, developing the slides, and scanning them into digital formats. There was no Photoshop to edit or alter the exposure and a good reminder how, to the woodworker, photography was another skill to be mastered.
