The wood entry gates presented in this gallery all suffer from a nervous disorder. An affliction outside the normal behavioral boundaries of good gate etiquette. None of them were created by commission or for any reason beyond the woodworker absorbed in the process as a mere pastime. There are no prices listed. Some of the originals are still available, while others have gone on to find homes across the country. If you see something that strikes you, the process is simple. Make us an offer. What interests us most is to insure they go to a good home from which photos will be sent back to us.

The #200 series of designer gates are the result of the woodworker’s trusted intuition. The mind as an accomplice, insuring the joinery is feasible. But it is intuition at the helm. There are never drawings or sketches. The result are eccentric, possibly artistic,  appealing to only a few of you.
