Our open picket  fence 27 appears as a simple, unblemished aesthetic. Which it is. And yet with picket widths of 3-1/4″ x 1-1/4″ thickness, we overstep our normal wood-to-labor ratio and ultimately arrive at the 11% over Base Cost price tag.

The result, however, is a more muscular concept.

The photographs were sent in 1-1/2 years after installation, illustrating the degree of weathering. Eventually the fully weathered cedar will match the inimitable Cape Cod shingles in the background.

Our first communiqué include the below image and it was clear how anything higher than 48″ would be inappropriate. The property was not in need of a privacy or security perimeter fence. Nor a solid assembly that would obscure the relaxed appeal of the landscape. Simply a suggested demarcation between the property and the approaching view.
