Speakeasy wood gates style #112 offers a low profile speakeasy of galvanized 1/4″ ranch wire at 4″ grids. An overall 8″ opening. The lower solid panel is vertical with 5″ planks joined into a single floating slab. The upper two smaller solid panels are joined smooth, with the grain aligned horizontally.

A closer look at the Speakeasy gate #112 with the ranch wire as a minimalist option to the common Romanesque black iron grills. Galvanized ranch wire is, by its nature, an irregular medium.

A nicely framed entry. The horizontal orientation of the flanking fence-line gives way to the modest presence of our speakeasy gate #112-1.

The darkish stain was applied by the homeowners.

Weddings are forever popular. This gate was commissioned by a new event center in western Sonoma County, focusing on hosting weddings and receptions. Better photos certainly exist of this site, but this is what was sent in.
