Garden Gate 69 with a pair of jambs at 1-1/2″ thickness x 3-3/4″ width mounted to the brick. As a wood security gate, the dead bolt shown below is accessible only by hopping the gates themselves. Although certainly doable, there is a marked separation between those deterred by a locked gate and those willing to breach the security and climb the gate, or wall itself.

Privacy wood gate 69-1 represents a departure, as it was built to be housed on a steel frame.  The gate itself, as a combination of steel and wood, extends the full height of the steel. The steel, obviously, was fabricated by a 3rd-party contractor and we simply built the gate to fit.

Nevertheless, a good example of the 69 as a single gate.
